Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project on Glenwood Avenue. Crews will mill (remove the top layer of existing pavement) and repave Glenwood Avenue from South Avenue to South Geddes Street beginning Saturday, July 3.
The project is expected to be completed in about ten days. The road will be closed to all traffic during active milling and paving but will reopen at other times. Detours will be marked. Actual project start dates, and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
