Installation of New ADA Play Structure & Equipment Complete
Syracuse, N.Y. – County Executive J. Ryan McMahon, II unveiled a brand new ADA compliant playground, new tees and a grass berm thanks to a grant from the Onondaga County Department of Community Development. The County Executive was joined by Town of Salina Supervisor Colleen Gunnip as well as several employees from the Town of Salina Parks Department.
County Executive McMahon said, “Our local parks are part of what makes Onondaga County such a great place to live and raise a family. I am proud that our Community Development Department was able to partner with Supervisor Gunnip and her team to further enhance Richfield Park.” McMahon continued, “These investments will go a long way in ensuring that everyone in the Town of Salina and Onondaga County can enjoy our beautiful local parks.”
The new playground builds off of previous investments made at Richfield Park including the renovation of the restroom building and the installation of a 20’ x 30’ gable end shelter.
