City of Syracuse to Close in Observance of Columbus Day (Trash Pickup Delay was cancelled)

Syracuse, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse will observe Monday, Oct. 14 in accordance with the federal Columbus Day holiday. City administrative offices will be closed. Metered parking downtown is free on the holiday. Trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day for the week. (The City of Syracuse rescinded this Press Release and had regular pickup. ) Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.  We attempt to give you the most accurate up-to-date information.  We are re-evaluating making these announcements.
