Fundraiser for McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center includes Deputy Mayor Sharon Owens will she rappel down a building?
Last year Mayor Walsh rappelled down the side of a building to raise awareness and funds for the work of the McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center. McMahon Ryan is Onondaga County’s first and only child advocacy center, dedicated to healing abused children and raising awareness that prevents child abuse.
This Friday, our Deputy Mayor Sharon Owens will participate in the fundraiser to bring awareness to the important work of protecting children. Onlookers will gather at One Park Place at 300 South State Street 1:30 PM to watch and cheer on participants.
