Lead Based Paint Training for Contractors/Supervisors

Onondaga County Community Development is offering Lead Based Paint Training for Contractors/Supervisors. The training runs four consecutive days and is scheduled for Tuesday February 20th through Friday February 23rd. There will be no charge for this training. However, we do require a $50 per person deposit. Please send your deposit with your registration form. Your $50 will be returned upon successful completion of this course.
Please note this training is only the first step to becoming a certified lead contractor. Following the completion of these classes, contractors must apply for certification through the EPA. The EPA has a comprehensive web site: http://www.epa.gov/lead/leadcert.htmand a toll free information number: 1-800-424-LEAD.
Attached are the registration forms for the Lead Supervisor Training classes. At this time, we can only allow two people per firm to attend. In order to register you must return the attached forms either by mail, in person, or via fax (435-3794). Please be sure to complete a separate form for each person attending the training. There are a limited number of seats available that will be filled on a first come basis, first served basis. The registration deadline is Wednesday February 7, 2007.
Classes will be held at the NYSWDA Operational Office, 5869 Fisher Road, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Community Development will send you a confirmation letter once the registration process is complete.
