Dunbar Center Hosts Creative Community Meeting On February 7th

SOUTH SALINA & WEST CASTLE STREETS: A CREATIVE CROSSROAD?

What is a Creative Community?
Why is it relevant to you? Find out at: An Open Forum on Creative Communities

Through its “Creative Communities” Initiative, the Metropolitan
Development Association (MDA) has received the support of the Ford
Foundation to work with stakeholders from throughout the community to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to re-energize several key corridors in and around downtown Syracuse by converting vacant and under-utilized properties into productive residential, commercial and public spaces.

When: February 7, 2007 from 7-9 P.M.

Where: The Dunbar Center, 1453 S. State St., Syracuse, NY 13205

Who: Anyone interested in exploring how the Creative Communities
Initiative may relate to the South Salina – West Castle crossroad.

Why: Have your voice heard and share your ideas and plans for the future of your community.

This is your chance to ask questions about this exciting initiative and share your ideas and expertise on past and current planning initiatives in your neighborhood.

Refreshments will be served at the meeting. Please RSVP to Ben Walsh at
315-422-8284 or brwalsh@mda-cny.comby Friday, February 2, 2007.
